Fly Fishing

Located in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, you will enjoy 1 day fly fishing.  The float trip will cover miles of river that are often inaccessible to the wading public. We can float a river with the right flow conditions to keep you on the water during peak fishing periods. Float trips usually begin at 7:00 AM and we can custom tailor the trip to meet your needs. You will leave with an unforgettable outdoor experience and desire to visit these mountains again.

If you are a beginner, your professional guide will teach you the fundamentals of fly casting, the basics of reading water, fly selection, and techniques to properly fight and land fish.  Your guide will outfit you with all equipment needed (flies, rods, boots, waders). Get ready to chase the fish of your dreams.

Downtown Food Tour

During the Downtown Food Tour, you will visit six to seven handpicked downtown restaurants and  food shops, offering a wide variety of food tastings from artful ethnic appetizers washed down with a splash of pinot to hand crafted sizzling delights. You quickly realize that Asheville is a proud and local economy and each business embraces this “keep Asheville local” movement.  With its strong roots in Southern heritage, Asheville has branched into a cosmopolitan Mecca of abundant food choices from all around the world, which we Asheville food enthusiasts are eager to share with our community and visitors.

Hotel Accommodations

Enjoy a 3-night stay in a standard guest room at the Renaissance, Cambria, or similar downtown Asheville hotel. These hotels are within walking distance to many coveted districts, including the River Arts District and downtown, allowing for maximum exploration.

Blackout Dates: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s weeks.
