2025 PGA Golf Championship

The PGA Championship is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers’ Association of America. It is one of the four men’s major championships in professional golf.

In line with the other majors, winning the PGA gains privileges that improve career security. PGA champions are automatically invited to play in the other three majors (Masters Tournament, U.S. Open, and The Open Championship) and The Players Championship for the next five years.

The iconic Wanamaker Trophy (named after businessman and golfer Rodman Wanamaker) is awarded to the winner of the PGA Championship, and stands nearly 2.5 feet tall and weighs 27 pounds.

The 2025 PGA Championship will be held at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.  It is the second time that PGA of America has chosen Quail Hollow to serve as the host site for the PGA Championship.  The natural beauty of picturesque landscape, rolling hills, thick forests and pristine water hazards complement its challenging layout, making it a favorite among players and spectators. The final three holes (16,17,18) are famously difficult and are collectively known as the “Green Mile.”
