To kick-off 2021, we’ve analyzed the categories of experiences that donors have purchased in fundraising events.
Categories (Experiences SOLD – Jan 1 – Feb 9, 2021)
55% – Outdoor Adventures (i.e. photo safaris, fly fishing, hiking, kayaking)
20% – Food, Wine & Spirits (i.e. bourbon and wine tours, meet-a-mixologist)
12% – Sports (i.e. playing golf, sporting events)
8% – Entertainment (i.e. award shows, city tours)
5% – Other
*48% – involved air travel, 52% – within a 4-5 hour drive of an organization’s location
Also, we recently launched our 4th Hometown Experiences destination:Charlotte! 25 experiences within a 3-5 hr drive of Charlotte. Charlotte joins Nashville, Cincinnati, and Napa.
