Golf Outings for Adaptive & Special Needs Organizations
What travel and experience packages look like for a golf outing run by an adaptive and special needs organization.

For an adaptive and special needs organization, a golf outing works best when the auction table matches the community. The room includes parents, volunteers, and supporters who live the mission every day. They respond to bucket-list sporting events like Formula 1 and the US Open, regional college football, Napa trips, and international destinations like Italy. These are not generic golf prizes. They are experiences people in this room already talk about. That same list works at a gala, a walk, or a family fun event. Consignment packages mean the organization never has to lean on parent families for big-ticket donations, and only pays for what sells.
Your world is built around access, and your events follow that same rule. Parents and supporters are not a typical golf audience. They are families with a long, daily connection to the mission. They attend galas, walks, and family fun events because the event meets them where they are. That changes the auction table, too. The items that work are ones they can picture themselves using. A trip to the US Open or Italy is not an add-on. It is a natural fit for a room that values experiences over things. The loyalty in this room is strong, and the auction table should feel like a fit, not a stretch.
There is no upfront cost to reserve packages. You only pay for an experience if it sells, keep 100% over the cost, and can sell experiences multiple times if the bidding gets hot. You are not too late: items can be added the same day as your event. Recommended starting bid is 15-20% above cost, so profit begins with the first bid. The number of experiences depends on your crowd size and audience. This works for a small family event or a large golf outing.
Start by browsing more than 140 travel and experience packages. Reserve what you like for free and get a one-page PDF display for each item, with photos and videos when available. You also get a marketing email with pre and post event info. On event day, winners are recorded like any auction item. After the event, send the winners’ details to Giveback XP and the Travel Team handles booking. Donors have up to two years to travel for non-event experiences. Event-based trips like the US Open are for that year’s event.
Once it is set, your auction table holds experiences your community actually wants. You have not asked parents for donations. You only owe for what sells. The winners plan their trips with the Travel Team. Your golf outing or family event keeps the focus on the mission and the people in the room.
