Banquets & Award Dinners for Trade & Professional Associations That Fit the Room and the Calendar

Auction experiences sized for shorter programs and smaller rooms, matched to what your members and sponsors actually bid on.

Banquet hall filled with guests at round tables

Experiences that sell in an association room tend to be ones people already talk about. Premium golf trips, Bourbon Trail weekends, wine-based getaways, and tickets to big sporting events get attention. These packages fit a short banquet program. You can put up a few items, run the bidding fast, and still see real dollars. Because the bidders are business people spending in a business context, a trip can feel like half charity, half personal reward. That mix loosens wallets in a way that generic baskets and gift cards do not.

Your audience is different from a school gala or a church auction. Member companies get asked for sponsorships all year. Adding consignment packages means you fill the auction without going back to the same well. You only pay for an experience if it sells, keep 100% over the cost, and can sell experiences multiple times if the bidding gets hot. You are not too late: items can be added the same day as your event. Nothing sits on a shelf unsold, and no one gets a last-minute ask for cash.

Cost is straightforward. You browse over 140 experiences, reserve what you like for free, and pay only for items that sell. A recommended starting bid sits 15 to 20 percent above cost, so you make money from the first bid. The number of experiences depends on your audience size and how you run the room. A small dinner might carry three or four packages. A larger conference charity event might carry more. There is no upfront spend, no minimum order, and no risk on items that do not move.

Here is how it works. You pick experiences that fit your crowd. You get a one-page PDF display per item with details, photos, and videos when available, plus a marketing email with hints and event info. At the event, you auction the certificates. Afterward, you send the winning bidder details to the Travel Team, and they book the travel. Donors have up to two years to travel for non-event experiences. Event-based trips, like the Kentucky Derby or the CMAs, are for that year’s event.

After the banquet, your auction is closed out with no leftover inventory and no bills for unsold items. Your members and sponsors saw something fresh on the block, and your association kept the profit. The winners handle their travel directly with a team that sends more than 3,000 donors on trips each year. You move on to the next event with one less thing to chase.
