You will receive up to six consecutive hours of chauffeured luxury sedan service inclusive of all service fees, fuel and driver’s base gratuity. The drivers are knowledgeable on the wine country area and will entertain you during the trip.

Tasting Experiences

Silverback Distillery is the only mother-daughter distilling duo in the nation crafting high quality, award-winning spirits.  From the refreshing, citrus-forward Strange Monkey Gin to real honey-liqueur infused Blackback Rye Whiskey to the “ultimate butterscotch bomb” Blackback Bourbon, Silverback Distillery strives to produce distinct, flavorful spirits from a unique mix of local grains, mountain water and good ol’ American craft(woman)ship.

Devils Backbone Brewing is the newest addition the Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows is extending Devils Backbone experimentation and innovation.  The new distillery features a Distillery Lounge serving Devils Backbone beers and crafted cocktails made with our signature spirits produced on site. There is also a covered patio to cozy up and enjoy your crafted cocktail

Bold Rock Cider is crushed and crafted in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Bold Rock uses locally grown Virginia and North Carolina apples to craft our award-winning hard ciders at our rustic Cider Barn in Nellysford, VA as well as our spacious Mills River Cidery just outside of Asheville, NC.

Flying Fox Vineyard is nestled in the heart of Nelson County wine country, Flying Fox Vineyard is a small, family-run winery. After many years of growing grapes we recently made the leap and started producing our own wines including Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Viognier and Pinot Gris.

Thomas Jefferson Monticello

Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness!  This 45-minute guided experience includes first floor spaces in Thomas Jefferson’s home, the West Lawn, and the South Wing. You’ll learn about Thomas Jefferson and his vision for America, the realities of slavery on the Monticello plantation, and the mountaintop’s iconic architecture. This tour also includes access to our gardens, grounds, walking tours, family-friendly activities, and exhibits.

Accommodations

Enjoy a 3-night stay (standard guest room, double occupancy) at the Boar’s Head Resort, Omni Hotel or similar in Charlottesville, Virginia.

 

Note: Charlottesville is approximately 1.5 hours from Richmond, 2 hours from Washington DC.

This auction item must be booked a minimum of 60 days in advance and subject to availability.  All purchases are non-refundable. Packages cannot be resold and travel must occur within two years from date of purchase.

Accommodations may be substituted for a comparable or better property.  Transportation is not provided unless specified.  Wineries and breweries are subject to change based on availability.  You must be 21 to participate in the tastings, but all ages are welcome on the tours.  Gratuity for excursions, tours, tastings is not included but recommended.
